Why Haven't I Heard About Neurofeedback Before?

Many medical professionals have not been educated about this unique modality and some confuse it with basic, older biofeedback.  Therefore, many are not familiar with it and are not prescribing it.  However, an estimated  2500 - 3500 professionals now use neurofeedback therapy including marriage and family therapists, licensed social workers,  psychologists, and registered nurses.
